UPDATE: Police presence on Ambrose Street

Members of the TBPS’s Major Crime Unit are now involved in the continued investigation

THUNDER BAY - Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Primary Response Unit were dispatched to the 200 block area of Ambrose Street just before 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 22 following reports of a disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male who appeared to have injuries consistent with a recent assault.

The male, later identified as a Thunder Bay man in his 30s, was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation and treatment of his injuries.

The victim is expected to recover from their injuries.

Members of the TBPS’s Major Crime Unit are now involved in the continued investigation. Members of the Forensic Identification unit are also assisting.
