THUNDER BAY – Traffic at Golf Links Road and the Harbour Expressway was brought to a crawl from about 1:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Tuesday following a dramatic three car collision.
A silver Hyundai sedan driven by a 72-year-old female driver was northbound on Golf Links Road. The vehicle didn't stop for a red light and struck a green Subaru SUV that was in the intersection while a left turn was being made.
The Subaru then was propelled into a white Mitsubishi sedan that was also in the intersection making a left turn.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to T.B.R.H.S.C. by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
She has been charged with the red light violation.
