THUNDER BAY – Parts of the city’s south side were struck by a large power outage this morning.
In a tweet sent out just before 10:30 a.m., Thunder Bay Hydro confirmed that crews are onsite addressing the issue.
About 2,000 hydro customers are without power due to equipment failure. The outage stretches from Pacific Avenue to Walsh Street, and Vickers to Hardisty Streets.
Power was restored shortly after 11:30 a.m.
