Uride rolls out booster seat option

New features makes travel with children more safe.

THUNDER BAY – Families now have the option to request a booster seat through the Uride app, a new feature designed to make travel with young children safer and more convenient.

The booster seat option is available in all Ontario cities where Uride operates, including Thunder Bay, as well as in Alberta, British Columbia, and New Brunswick.

“We know that for families, getting around with children can be challenging. The booster seat feature is about providing safer, stress-free travel for families with small children.” said Cody Ruberto, founder and CEO of Uride.

Uride says it introduced the feature to address a gap in rideshare services, where child-friendly options are often limited.

The company has recently expanded other inclusive ride options, including pet-friendly rides.
