Vaccine booking reopens for those 75-plus

Health unit reopens vaccine booking, with over 3,500 spots potentially available.

THUNDER BAY – Vaccine booking has reopened for residents born in 1946 and earlier, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced Saturday.

Eligible residents can book an appointment by visiting the health unit’s booking website, or calling 1-833-943-3900.

The health unit reported it had 3,500 or more spots available March 31 through April 2, on April 5, and April 7 to 9. Vaccinations occur at the CLE Coliseum building.

Spots were fully booked within hours on March 22, the last time the health unit opened bookings.

The health unit announced the reopening of bookings via social media just after 10 a.m. Saturday.
