A routine speeding stop by Marathon OPP has led to a major drug seizure.
Police pulled over the vehicle Tuesday afternoon on Highway 17 in Pic Township, and the driver was taken into custody when prescription medication was spotted inside the vehicle.
A search of the car turned up nine kilograms of marijuana in the trunk. A 25-year-old Timmins man remains in custody facing several drug related charges.
