THUNDER BAY – The victim in a fatal collision on the Thunder Bay Expressway on Wednesday morning has been identified by Ontario Provincial Police.
Dallas Bailey, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
According to the OPP, a vehicle travelling southbound struck a northbound vehicle just before 7 a.m., leaving one driver dead and the other with minor injuries.
Both vehicles involved had a single occupant.
City police and OPP closed a section of the highway between Oliver Road and the Harbour Expressway for several hours while they investigated the collision.
