Victim identified in Hilldale Road homicide

Robenson Saint-Jean of Ottawa has been identified as the victim in last week’s homicide in the area of Hilldale and Melbourne Roads

THUNDER BAY - The victim of a homicide on Hilldale Road last week has been identified by police.

In a media release issued Monday afternoon, Thunder Bay Police Service said following a post-mortem examination and consultation with next of kin, the deceased man has been identified as 21-year-old Robenson Saint-Jean of Ottawa.

Saint-Jean was found injured in the area of Hilldale and Melbourne Roads on Friday, March 29 just after 12:45 p.m.

He was transported by ambulance to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he died of his injuries.

Police arrested 41-year-old Jeffrey D R Miller on Saturday and charged him with second-degree murder in connection to the investigation. Miller appeared in court on Monday via video from the Thunder Bay District Jail and will make his next appearance on Apr. 8.
