For the third time in as many days, a Mac's Convenience Store clerk has found the business end of a syringe pointed at them in a threatening manner.
The Mac's on North May Street was hit again on Monday night, just before 7:30 p.m. by a masked male suspect who was also brandishing a pen and demanded cash from one of the two female employees working at the time of the incident. A customer was also in the store at the time of the alleged robbery.
It's the second time since Saturday the same store was hit.
Police responded, calling in the K-9 unit to track the suspect, who made off with an undisclosed sum of cash, fleeing on foot.
Police are again asking the public to report any information they might have about the incident to Thunder Bay Police or Crime Stoppers.
Though police haven't confirmed it's the same suspect in all three robberies, earlier on Monday they released a description. The suspect in both robberies is described as five-foot to five-foot-six with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie and pants. The suspect's face was covered by a half white skull mask.
