THUNDER BAY -- A sea of chrome and freshly washed paint was beaming this year at the Thunder City Rumble.

The event which formally took place concurrently with RibFest at the CLE grounds had a change of venue this year.

Thunder City Speedway played host as more than 150 cars and sleds filled the parking lot, on display for car enthusiasts to enjoy.

There was something for everyone, a swap meet and craft sale with automotive themed memorabilia and parts, a vintage small engine display and food vendors.

All the proceeds from the event were going to support Our Kids Count.

Special guest “Bad Chad” from Discovery Channel’s “Bad Chad Customs” was also in attendance to check out the rides and take some photos with fans
