Video: Knife-wielding suspect sought in southside robbery

An armed robbery at a Circle K has police turning to the public to help identify the suspect.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for a recent armed robbery.

Thunder Bay Police were dispatched to the Circle K on Walsh Street West just after 11 p.m. on March 28 following reports of an armed robbery that had just occurred.


Through their investigation officers learned a male had entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded specific merchandise from the clerk.

The accused fled the store, with undisclosed merchandise, on foot in a southwest direction toward Walsh Street.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male standing about five-foot-eight. He wore a grey and black hoodie with the hood up, a black face mask covering his nose and mouth, and white-rimmed sunglasses with green lenses.
