Video: Police look to identify armed robbery suspect

Police are looking to identify a suspect in an armed robbery.

THUNDER BAY – City police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store with a knife late Tuesday night.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the suspect entered the Mac’s Convenience Store on Edward Street North just before 11:30 p.m. with his face covered with a dark balaclava and hood.

The man was armed with a knife and demanded money from the store clerk. He then fled southbound on Edward Street on foot with undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as a male standing about five-feet-six-inches to six-feet tall with a thin build.

He was wearing a black hoodie with Nike Air on the front in white lettering, light blue jeans, dark gloves and shoes.
