THUNDER BAY -- City police are looking for the man responsible for a morning drug-store robbery.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say a man entered the Janzen’s Pharmacy on North Algoma and Bay Street Wednesday, Aug. 13 at about 9:15 a.m.
Police say the man took narcotics from behind the counter before fleeing the scene on foot.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Police describe the suspect as being a darker-skinned man standing about five-feet-eight-inches tall. He weighed about 190 pounds and had scruffy facial hair.
The suspect wore flip flops, sunglasses, light-coloured baseball cap with black stripes, a black jacket and dark pants during the robbery.
He also had a black bag.
In an effort to find the suspect, police have released video and pictures from the robbery.
Police say the suspect’s description is similar to that of a man involved in a July 24 robbery at the same pharmacy.
