THUNDER BAY - Volunteers have joined the search for a missing 17-year-old youth.
Braiden Jacob was last seen in the early morning hours on Dec. 6 in the Limbrick Street area.
While the search has been ongoing since Wednesday night, a command centre has been set up at the Victoria Inn to organize volunteers interested in assisting with the search effort.
The search is focusing on several areas, including Chapples, Redwood Park, Northwood, and the Inglewood Parquette.
Search organizers said a lot of people have already come out to assist and the more people looking, the better.

Braiden was last seen wearing a camo hooded sweatshirt with black stripes on the sleeves and white lettering on top of black stripes. He was also wearing a black hat with a red leaf on it, dark pants, and brown DC shoes.
He is described as an Indigenous male standing approximately six feet tall with a thin build. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
