THUNDER BAY -- Advance voting continues in Thunder Bay ahead of the scheduled Oct. 27 municipal election.
The City of Thunder Bay used the Voting Van in the previous municipal election to help make casting a ballot easier. Deputy Returning Officer Sandy Kachur says this time around, they're already seeing an increase of people coming out.
And Kachur adds that residents are still getting used to voting in the van.
The van will be around town for the next three days. You can find it at the Canadian Tire on Arthur Street until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
On Thursday the van heads to County Fair Plaza for the morning and early afternoon. It then motors toward Skaf's on Hodder Avenue where it will be parked for the evening.
On Friday the van will be at the Real Canadian Superstore from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and at Northwood Park Plaza from 5 to 8 p.m.
On Saturday, it will be at Intercity Shopping Centre.
If you can't make it out to the voting van or the other advance polls, you can always vote on election day, Oct. 27.
