KAKABEKA FALLS -- Highway 595 in Kakabeka Falls is closed in both directions due to a washout.
Ontario Provincial Police said the washout occurred in the area of Cronk Road, south of Highway 590, and asked motorists to find an alternate route if travelling through the area.
The closure was put into place late on Wednesday night.
There is no indication yet when the highway may reopen.
