THUNDER BAY – A washout has closed Highway 17 between Wawa and White River.
Ontario Provincial Police have closed a section of Highway 17 from Wawa to White River due to a washout.
A police spokesperson said the highway will remain closed until further notice and the Ministry of Transportation engineers are en route.
There is no indication how long the closure will last.
