THUNDER BAY – The upcoming Canada Day holiday will result in changes to waste and recycling collection in Area 1 and Area 2.
There is no collection on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1. Garbage and recycling collection moves back one day earlier during the week of June 29th for residents in Area 1 and Area 2. Collection in Area 3 and Area 4 remains unchanged.
To see which zone you reside in or if your collection day has changed, check your new 2020/2021 waste collection calendar that was delivered to your home or visit: www.thunderbay.ca/waste under the Collection Schedules and Reminders application for your correct collection information for the week of Canada Day.
