THUNDER BAY — The James Street Bridge will temporarily close to traffic on Tuesday, May 14, as watermain repairs are completed nearby.
The City of Thunder Bay is completing this work in conjunction with CN Rail.
The bridge will be closed to north and south-bound traffic starting at 7 a.m.
The closure is estimated to last for 24 hours.
During that time, there will be no through traffic on the bridge and motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution and expect delays in the area.
An alternate route is available to motorists via Highway 61 and Chippewa Road.
