WAWA, Ont. -- Provincial police have charged a Wawa man with sexual assault and two counts of drug possession.
The OPP began an investigation after receiving an allegation of sexual assault on March 28, with their Superior East and Sault Ste. Marie crime units involved, according to a news release issued Tuesday morning.
A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with sexual assault, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and possession of a controlled substance.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Wawa court in May.
