THUNDER BAY - Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man involved in a weekend altercation that sent one person to hospital on the city’s north side.
The incident took place just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning outside of the NV Nightclub on Red River Road. Police arrived on the scene and found a 22-year-old male injured and bleeding.
The man was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and remains in hospital.
Following an investigation, police have identified the man responsible for the aggravated assault and have issued a warrant for his arrest. Investigators are still attempting to locate him and the investigation is ongoing.
