Weekend heat warning in effect

The city of Thunder Bay is under a heat warning Saturday and Sunday, with humid temperatures expected to feel like 35 degrees Celcius.

THUNDER BAY -- It will be a sweltering show for those planning to attend the Thunder Bay Bluesfest, or any other outdoor activities this weekend.

Environment Canada has issued an extreme heat warning for Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to climb to 29 degrees celcius during the day Saturday, feeling like 35 degrees Celcius.

Overnight temperatures aren't expected to drop past 20 degrees Celcius.

Sunday's forecast calls for extremely humid conditions, and a high chance of thunderstorms.
