Saturday
The Magnus Theatre will continue to present "Lies and Legends: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin" at its outdoor stage at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Seating is general admission. Those looking for accessible seating are encouraged to note it in their order or call the box office at (807) 345-5552. For student tickets or group bookings, visitors can also contact the box office.
Monday
The Waverley Park Concert Series will return to Waverley Park, starting at 6:30 p.m. and going until 9 p.m.
The Thunder Bay Border Cats will have a game at 6:35 p.m. at the Port Arthur Stadium.
All weekend
The 35th Festa Italiana will run from 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday at the Italian Cultural Centre. It will feature live music, Italian cuisine, children's activities, beer gardens and a free draw to win a trip for two to Italy. Spaghetti, watermelon and jello eating contests will also be held.
The Cirque Italia Water Circus is running under the white and blue big top tent across the street from the Intercity Shopping Centre from Friday to Monday. Its first show will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. shows on Saturday, as well as 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. shows on Sunday and a 7:30 p.m. show on Monday. Ticket prices range from $35 to $80.
The Thunder Bay Chill International Invitational Tournament will continue this weekend at the Tbaytel Field on Chapples Drive. It will feature 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. games daily, as five teams compete in a round-robin series. Monday will only have a 6:30 p.m. game. Not only will this tournament showcase competitive play, but it will also fundraise through the “Let’s All Play” campaign, with proceeds from the gate going towards supporting the newly announced Indoor Turf facility.
