The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.
The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!
The Thunder Bay Potter’s Guild Pottery Pop –up is back again this year. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. head on down to Goods & Co. Market (251 Red River Road) to view and buy some pottery handmade by local experts! Find out more on Facebook!

The Friends of the Library Moving Book Sale! The Used Bookstore is relocating. Stock up on your Summer Reading! Sales support the Thunder Bay Public Library. Pride Month Events:
The Thunder Bay Public Library presents: Story Time with Thunder Bay Drag Queens! Head down to Waverley Public Library (285 Red River Road) from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All ages welcome! The event is free to attend (limited seating capacity) Story Time with Thunder Bay Drag Queens features local drag artists, Lady Fantasia LaPremiere & Mz. Molly Poppinz as they read stories and do activities while fostering acceptance and appreciation of diversity.
Festivals:
The Maamawe Summer Festival & Showcase is back! The Maamawe Summer Festival and Showcase is a community festival that promotes inclusion, diversity and well-being for the Thunder Bay community and all visitors to the region. The Festival showcases local talent with a focus on Indigenous artists to share elements of Indigenous contributions like music and art. 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Marina Park!
Food and Drink:
You are invited to the annual Ethnic Food Picnic organized by The Tapestry Women's Network in conjunction with home certified training sponsored by Roots Community Food Center. The group is showcasing global cuisines from around the world cooked by local home chefs and caterers from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 450 Fort William Rd. This event is family friendly and eco friendly. The entry is $5.00 with children under 12 free!
