Markets: 

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.           

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!         

The Thunder Bay Farmer's Market is being held at the North End Rec Centre (954 Huron Ave. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Food will be served from the kitchen to eat-in or take-out. For more information, please contact tbfm@tbaytel.net 

Trade Shows:  

Head out for a fantastic weekend of training and friendship at the Martial Arts and Health Expo 2023 in Thunder Bay, the Martial Arts Capital of Canada. More than 25 seminars offered by expert instructors, Expo Banquet and Blackbelt Testing conducted by Hanshi Mady. All seminars, testing, accommodations and banquet will be at the Lakehead University campus. Enjoy social activities and learning opportunities surrounded by beautiful green spaces near Lake Tamblyn and the McIntyre River. Event runs from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. 

Live Music: 

Frank Loffredo Crocks, Slick Mason and DJ Rogue are brining you the best in Afrobeat, Reggaeton, Hip Hop & RnB that Thunder Bay has to offer. With special performances by NovaSoul and more. Cat Sabbath is at it again! Coming to you live at Black Pirates Pub! 3 sets of Sabbath goodies all night! $10 at the door, 19+ ID required. Doors open at 9 p.m. Show starts at 10 p.m.
