There's a few things to do this weekend in Thunder Bay!

Saturday, June 3 

Markets: 

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.             

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!           

The Thunder Bay Farmer's Market is being held at the North End Rec Centre (954 Huron Ave. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Food will be served from the kitchen to eat-in or take-out. For more information, please contact [email protected] 

Festivals: 

Kite Festival & Canadian Forces Snowbirds Air Show! The Kite Festival is an award winning event that brings professional kite flyers, demonstrations and activities for all ages every June. This year only! The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are joining in on the fun! They will have air shows both Saturday and Sunday starting at approximately 12:00 pm each day! 

Comedy: 

Are you ready for a night of affordable fun and laughs. Enjoy a night of improv comedy with Cambrian Players. If you like “Whose Line Is It Anyway” then you’ll love us. We create these funny, one-act plays without a script. Stuff we just make up right on the spot, but you probably wouldn’t know it by watching. $5 cash at the door. Doors open at 7:15 PM.
