The Kam River Fighting Walleye are facing off against the Red Lake Miners today and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at Northwest Arena, a short drive out of Highway 11/17 to Highway 588 in Stanley. Get your tickets here!

Markets: 

It’s VendorFest's 1st Annual Countdown to Santa! Over 75 Local Vendors, Artists, Crafters, Small Business Owners and Home Baked Goodies in the CLE Coliseum Bldg. Special Appearance by Santa from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.    

The Thunder Bay Farmers Market has moved to North End Recreation Centre 954 Huron Ave. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Head out and get breakfast early. There's something for everyone. Many Vendors and options! There are new pop ups vendors and food vendors weekly as well.    

The Friends of the Thunder Bay Public Library will be hosting a Buck a Bag Book Sale. A large selection of books for all ages and interests are available and you can fill a bag for a dollar. A selection of gently used and new books are also available for gift giving at the right price. Victoriaville Centre, 650 Victoria Avenue East unit 75. 

Theatre: 

The holiday season will see the return of JACOB MARLEY’S CHRISTMAS CAROL by Tom Mula, running from December 6th to December 24th. This play retells Charles Dickens’s classic tale from the perspective of Ebenezer Scrooge’s mean, sour, pruney old business partner, Jacob Marley, who must free himself from hellish eternity by redeeming the heart of Scrooge. Disney’s classic animated tale of kidnapping villains and courageous puppies is adapted in 101 Dalmatians Kids Presented by Paramount Live. Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita's former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen. Tickets cost $20 and are available at http://paramountlive.eventbrite.ca/
