Markets: 

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.            

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!          

The Thunder Bay Farmer's Market is being held at the North End Rec Centre (954 Huron Ave. From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Food will be served from the kitchen to eat-in or take-out. For more information, please contact tbfm@tbaytel.net 

Thunder Bay Quilters Guild is presenting a fantastic quilt show at the CLE Coliseum Building with over 200 quilts on display.  The show includes handmade items for sale, vendors, demonstrations and a 40th Anniversary Quilt Challenge.  The event will be open on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry is $5 per person (cash only).  Children 12 and under get free admission.  More information on thunderbayquilters.org.  

Trinity United Church is hosting an Antique Fair and Nearly New Boutique event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Trinity Hall, Park Avenue (across from the Armory).  $2 admission.  Featuring antiques, collectibles, jewellery, upscale housewares, furniture and nearly new clothing for men and women.  There will be a Cozy Cafe for food (hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, and coffee, tea or pop) for purchase. 

Library Events: 

The Thunder Bay Public Library presents Story Time for Teens with Thunder Bay Drag Queens at the Waverley Public Library (285 Red River Road) from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Free to attend (limited seating capacity) Story Time with Thunder Bay Drag Queens features local drag artists, Lady Fantasia LaPremiere & Mz. Molly Poppinz as they read stories and do activities while fostering acceptance and appreciation of diversity. 

Live Music: 

WOoDSIDE Social Club - Sisters in Song featuring Cassidy Houston & Jamie Sky from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This WOoDSIDE Social Club will bring an assortment of songs inspired by your favourite women and fem-folk artists from Carole King and Stevie Nicks to Alicia Keyes and Miley Cyrus, crossing generations and genres, from singer songwriter and indie to R&B/pop and country. Tickets available for $25. Add on a $25 charcuterie board for two by CharKuu 102 Charcuterie and try delicious cocktails at the WOoDSIDE Bar! Join The Gin Tonics at The Port Arthur Branch 5 Legion for a fun night of classic hits with an acoustic twist. $10 Cover. 19+ Show starts at 8 p.m. 229 Van Norman St.
