On Saturday at the 55 plus centre doors open at 10:15 a.m. for a men’s health event, “Men Make It Happen. Because prostate cancer still kills!”
On Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Rockin' Recovery will showcase inspiring recovery stories by people with lived experience of substance use, live entertainment, as well as family-friendly activities, and recovery-supportive organizations to connect with!
Sunday:
From 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Boulevard Lake the second annual Take It In Strides Run will commemorate loved ones lost to suicide. You can participate virtually from any location by engaging in any activity of your choice to commemorate a loved one lost to suicide and advocate for suicide prevention.
All Weekend Long:
Blacksheep Mountain Bike Club, in collaboration with Cycling Canada is hosting the 2024 Canadian XCM MTB Championships in Thunder Bay this weekend. Mountain bike athletes from across Canada will be looking to secure Canadian titles in the Cross-Country Marathon (XCM) discipline. The first person to cross the line will be awarded the coveted maple leaf jersey and will become the new Canadian Champion.
