Winnipeg man charged with theft following weekend crash

Thunder Bay OPP charged a young man with possession of stolen property following a collision near the town of Raith over the weekend. Police responded to the single vehicle crash at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Thunder Bay OPP charged a young man with possession of stolen property following a collision near the town of Raith over the weekend.

Police responded to the single vehicle crash at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

An investigation revealed that the car was stolen from Winnipeg. The driver, a 19-year-old Winnipeg man, was not injured in the crash and remains in custody.

The man has been charged with possession of stolen property and was scheduled for a video court appearance on Sunday.
