THUNDER BAY – Another winter storm watch has been issued for Thunder Bay, which could bring up to 30 centimetres of snow to the city.
According to Environment Canada, between 15 and 30 centimetres of snow could fall, with the storm starting either Sunday afternoon or evening and lasting into Monday evening.
The heaviest snow, which could fall between two and four centimetres per hour, is expected Sunday night through Monday morning.
The intensity of the snowfall will taper off on Monday evening.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations and visibility may be reduced. Poor weather may contribute to transportation delays.
