FORT WILLIAM FIRST NATION, Ont. — A resident of Fort William First Nation faces drug-related charges after a joint investigation by the Anishinabek Police Service and the OPP.
In a news release Tuesday, the APS said the incident happened last month.
The two police services conducted a traffic stop and found about $15,000 worth of suspected cocaine in the vehicle.
They charged the 51-year-old driver with trafficking in a controlled substance.
She's also charged with possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The woman was released on an undertaking to appear in court on Dec. 14, 2021.
