A 41-year-old woman is in custody after a 49-year-old man was wounded in the hand with knife.
Thunder Bay Police on Wednesday night responded to a call for help and found the victim bleeding from a cut on his hand the man said was inflicted by the woman.
The woman, who police did not name, was taken into custody, charged with assault with a weapon and is being held until a court appearance.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and that the people involved were known to each other.
Neither the name of the victim nor the suspect was released.
