A woman was robbed and attacked by two people on the early morning of Oct. 23.

Thunder Bay Police Service Media Release

The Thunder Bay Police are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. on the morning of October 23, 2016 in the area of Hodder Avenue and Dacre Street.

The 37-year-old female victim was approached by two individuals who demanded money and cigarettes from her.

She handed over cigarettes and then was struck by one of the suspects. She contacted the police before noon on October 23, 2016 to report this incident.

One suspect is described as a Native Canadian male with a small amount of facial hair, possibly a goatee and a pointy nose. He was wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering and a black sweater.
