THUNDER BAY — A city woman has an appointment in the Ontario Court of Justice following an incident on Highway 11-17 Friday night.
OPP conducted a traffic stop within city limits after observing a vehicle being driven along the highway at a high speed.
Officers then determined that the driver had been drinking, so she was placed under arrest and taken to the detachment for further tests.
As a result, the 41-year-old was charged with impaired driving.
She was released from custody with a promise to appear before a judge on July 10.
