Woman charged with stealing lottery tickets from local convenience store

A Thunder Bay woman has been arrested for stealing lottery tickets and tobacco products from a local convenience store.

A Thunder Bay woman has been arrested for stealing lottery tickets and tobacco products from a local convenience store.

The OPP is investigating the incident with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario's enforcement bureau after being alerted to the incident by the OLG.

A 56-year-old city woman was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 for stealing the tickets and tobacco products from the convenience store where she was an employee.

The accused was released on a promise to appear and has her next court date on Nov. 29.
