KENORA, ON — The driver of a passenger car died in a three-vehicle collision Monday afternoon at Kenora.
Ontario Provincial Police identified the victim Tuesday afternoon as a 38-year-old woman, but did not release her name.
They said she had been operating a car that was involved in a collision with a transport truck and a pickup truck on Highway 17 at the Highway 596 junction.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said no one else suffered serious injuries.
Traffic through the collision site was blocked for 15 hours until OPP cleared the scene.
