THUNDER BAY - A 39-year-old woman is facing numerous charges stemming from separate incidents that took place within two days.
According to Thunder Bay Police Service media release, officers responded to a Memorial Avenue business on Tuesday just after 12:30 a.m. after a witness reported seeing two individuals breaking a window and stealing items from the store before fleeing.
A man and woman were located a short distance away and arrested. A 36-year-old man was charged with break and enter and theft and was released on a promise to appear.
Kimberly Shannon Fox, 39, was charged with break and enter and theft, as well as breach of probation. She is also facing additional charges of assault causing bodily harm and breach of probation from an incident that took place the day before.
Police were called to investigate the incident in the Intercity area at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Monday where a 35-year-old man was assaulted and later taken to hospital.
The woman appeared in a Thunder Bay courtroom on Wednesday and was remanded into custody.
