THUNDER BAY -- A woman was found dead between Canadian Tire and the new Beer Store on Fort William Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers attended the scene at 2:55 p.m., responding to a call from a man who had come across an adult female who was lying on the ground, cold and unresponsive.
"At this point in time, we're waiting for identification and the coroner to attend," said police Const. Julie Tilbury at the scene.
"It's very early stages of the investigation."
