Woman jumped, suspects flee

A 22-year-old woman narrowly escaped an armed robbery attempt late Monday night. The victim was walking on a path behind the County Fair Wal-Mart when she was jumped, the suspects demanding either money or her iPhone.

A 22-year-old woman narrowly escaped an armed robbery attempt late Monday night.

The victim was walking on a path behind the County Fair Wal-Mart when she was jumped, the suspects demanding either money or her iPhone.

The woman managed to get up after being pushed to the ground and escaped on foot.

The suspects are described as Aboriginal men in their early 20, dressed in dark clothing. They managed to flee the scene, despite the fact police were immediately called. 

The victim was not injured.
