A woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a collision on Oliver Road.
The crash took place at the corner of Oliver Road and Ray Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. The intersection was shut down as Thunder Bay Police Service officers were kept busy directing traffic away from the scene.
One vehicle was badly damaged, and required the assistance of firefighters to free the occupants.
A woman was sent to hospital for treatment of what is being described as non-life threatening injuries. Police say she has since been charged with a traffic violation.
