Woman injured seriously after being struck by vehicle

THUNDER BAY -- A woman was sent to hospital on Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in a north-side strip mall parking lot. 

Several Thunder Bay police officers remain on scene at the supper hour investigating the Red River Road incident, re-enacting the collision with a pick-up truck that appears to have been involved in the crash. 

Police have not said if any charges have been laid at this time. 

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
