THUNDER BAY - Hydro work are set to cause lane closures and pedestrian detours along the Harbour Expressway, beginning Monday and lasting into mid-October.
Maintenance to hydro towers along the expressway will require a rolling closure of one westbound lane of the expressway, and one southbound lane on Golf Links Road.
Pedestrians using the multi-use trail at Golf Links Road and the Harbour Expressway may find detours posted.
The work begins Monday and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, the city says.
The city is asking motorists to drive with caution in the area and follow signage, as detours and work locations will change as the project proceeds.
