THUNDER BAY – A section of Strathcona Avenue east of Hodder Avenue will be closed on Monday, Sept. 19.
The road will be closed between Hodder and Spruce River Road while crews complete paving near Bare Point Road.
Local traffic will be permitted, the City of Thunder Bay said in a release.
The work is expected to be complete by end of day Monday, but weather conditions and other factors could impact that timeline, the city said.
Motorists are asked to obey construction signs in the area and drive with caution, and use alternate routes around the construction zone.
