Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne is expected to visit the city next week.
The premier will be in Thunder Bay Tuesday to participate in a jobs and growth roundtable.
She is also scheduled to attend the official opening of Lakehead University's new Faculty of Law.
The stopover is part of a Northern Ontario swing for Wynne that will also see her visit Kenora and Fort Severn.
