Youth arrested in stolen vehicle incident

A 14-year-old was arrested Wednesday following reports of a stolen vehicle.

SIOUX LOOKOUT -- Police have arrested and charged a 14-year-old after a report of a stolen vehicle.

Ontario Provincial Police officials say officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle stolen Wednesday from the Fresh Market Foods parking lot in Sioux Lookout.

Police found the vehicle later in the day being driven by a 14-year-old youth.

The youth was arrested and charged with theft over $5000, take motor vehicle without consent, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.

The 14-year-old appeared in court Thursday to answer to the charges.
