All-Stars improve to 2-1 at Senior Little League Championship

Nicholas Nigro tossed 3.2 innings of shutout ball Saturday and drove in three runs at the plate, leading the Thunder Bay All-Stars to a 6-1 win over Lethbridge at the Canadian Senior Little League Championship in Regina.

Kody Anton was a home run away from hitting for the cycle for the winning side, going 3-for-3 with three runs on a single, double and triple.

Thunder Bay, who only allowed two hits in the game, improved to 2-1 at the tournament with the win, and take on Saskatchewan at 6 p.m. EST on Sunday.
