Thunder Bay Kings AAA Hockey Media Update

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay bantam Kings are off to Grand Rapids, Minn., this weekend to take part in the Star of the North tournament in that northern Minnesota community.
A total of 12 teams will be competing in the bantam division with the Kings beginning play Friday afternoon at 1:50 p.m. against the Fargo Freeze.
Two games will be on Thunder Bay’s slate Saturday starting with an 11:30 a.m. encounter vs. the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars.
That will be followed up with a 7 p.m. match-up as the Mahtomedi Zephyrs provide the opposition.
Further games for the Kings will be based on their round robin results.
Semifinal action goes Sunday at 9 a.m. while the third place and championship contests go later in the day at 3 p.m.
