FORT FRANCES, Ont. – Brandon Bodnar’s got the Fort Frances Lakers number of late.

The Thunder Bay North Stars goalie on Friday night blanked his former team for the second straight time, stopping 36 shots to lead his team to a 2-0 road win against the host Fort Frances Lakers.

It was his second shutout in four starts, the fifth of his three-year Superior International Junior Hockey League career.

Ryan Mignault and Dillon Ward scored the lone goals of the contest, Mignault’s eighth coming in the first, Ward’s ninth wrapping up the offence in the third.

The third-place North Stars improved to 10-6-3 with the victory, while the fifth-place Lakers fell to 6-10-2.
