Bautista and Jimenez are coming to Thunder Bay.
That’s Clarendon College’s Alex Bautista and Geoff Jimenez of Florida Atlantic University, two of six players signed to the Thunder Bay Border Cats Tuesday.
'The outfielders are joined by Northeastern University sophomore second baseman and Pickering native Michael Foster, Central Michigan freshman catcher Dylan Goodwin and pitchers Zach Thiac and Blake Smith. Lefty Thiac is from Nicholls State University in Louisiana while righty Smith plays for Morehead State University in Kentucky.
The Cats home opener is set for June 1 against the Willmar Stingers.
